I'm a developer/designer hybrid with extensive Front End knowledge. Simply put, I like to create web projects look damn good and I'm a stickler for good, clean code.
I began building sites around 1999, back when Geocities was way cooler than Facebook. After becoming frustrated with the limitations of a WYSIWYG editor, I cracked open the HTML view, started to pick apart raw code and since then I've never been without a text editor.
As far as the design counterpart goes, I've been an artist all my life. Even now, I spend a lot of time drawing, taking photographs and finding creative outlets. I find that having a good visual eye is a valuable supplement to web development. It's made me sensitive to everything from planning the compositional balance of a layout to preempting for how a user may interact with a website. Pretty nifty!
When I'm away from a computer, I enjoy reading books, cycling (or biking, if you're old-fashioned) and listening to music genres that probably didn't exist when you were a kid. I'm a huge craft beer nerd and it wouldn't be uncommon to find me sitting at a Boston bar with my MacBook and a notebook.
